Enrollment Starting Now!
Our 3 Step Process
Gym Magic Health and Safety Protocols
The safety of our students, parents and staff is our first priority. Gym Magic has implemented a comprehensive health and safety protocol for all. Lesson plans and class ratios have been changed to allow the proper restrictions for our facility.
Health Checks for All Particpants (Students, Parents & Staff)
You will be asked to have a confirmation of Health Status and Travel History prior to entering the facility in a questionnaire. Anyone over the age of 3 coming into our facility will be required to wear a face mask.
Touchless temperature will be taken before entering the Gym Magic. Anyone over 99.4 will not be allowed to enter the building. Anyone exhibiting COVID symptoms will not be permitted to enter the facility. Should symptoms present during class time, the individual will be isolated and sent home.
Entry & Exit Protocol
We have created a waiting area on the outside of the building with clear physical distances (6 feet separation) marked. Participants can choose to wait in their car or the marked waiting area. A Gym Magic Staff member will indicate when to enter the building. We have one set of doors that will be open for Entrance Only and one set of doors that will be open for Exit Only and One Way Travel throughout the building (follow the arrows). There will be hand sanitizing stations at the Entrance and Exit. Everyone entering the facility will be required to sanitize their hands.
Swim: There will be limited access to the changing rooms and our showers have been temporarily closed. Bathrooms will be available to wash hands. (Parent and Child participants will be the only group to access the change rooms). Swim ratios are 2 students to one coach with a 20 minute class structure.
In Facility Health & Safety Protocols
One parent/caregiver per child. Children enrolled in 3 and 4 year old classes will require a parent to assist them in class. Students will need to arrive in their leotards, gym clothes or swimsuits with easy to remove footwear such as sandals. Each student needs to bring their own bag for personal gear such as a water bottle, hand sansitizer, hair ties, ballet shoes (dance), towel and goggles ( swim). The water fountain will be disabled for the time being, but there will be access for refillable bottles.
Assigned seating for parents/caregivers will be clearly marked on the deck and in the lobby., but these spaces will be limited.
Islands and lane ropes will be used in the pool to enhance physical distancing. Parents will be keeping their child’s swim bag at their assigned space.
The deck supervisor will safely guide students to their lesson area and instructor. At the end of the lesson, instructors will guide the students safely to their parents/caregivers. Following the lesson a “Wrap and Go” procedure will be in place. Parents/caregivers will assist students to wrap in a towel/robe, put foot wear on and exit from the back door to return to the parking area.
Plexiglas barriers have been installed at the front desk. We will be selling goggles and swim diapers. All lesson payments will be processed online, not in person.
Enhanced Cleaning Standards & Procedures
We have done a deep clean of the entire facility including pressure washing decks, showers, change rooms and lobby. The pool water is treated constantly by two methods: Filtration and Liquid Chlorine is administered to the water according to Health Guidelines.
Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces in the facility will be done at regular intervals. We use a hospital grade disinfectant.
Cleaning and sanitizing of all teaching equipment used between lessons. Each instructor will be issued one set of teaching equipment per class. There will be no sharing of equipment between participants.
