Swim School Age Range: 6 months and up
Class Length: 30 minutes
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Students are grouped by age first and than by skill level.
1. Parent/Child Program
Waterbabies Class: 6 months to 35 months *
*All Watterbabies: Snug, reusable, cloth swim diapers are required for all students under the age of 3, even if they are potty trained. Swim diapers are available at the front desk.
2. Beginning Students
Bubblfish: 3 year olds
Goldfish: 4 & 5 year olds
Sea Horses: 6 year olds and up
3. Intermediate Students
Catfish: 3 year olds
Sea Otters: 4 year olds and up
4. Advanced Intermediate Students
Penguins: 4 years and up
Seals: 4 years and up
5. Advanced Students
Dolphins: 5 years and up
Sharks: 5 years and up
Hammerheads: 5 years and up
All classes have a maximum of 5 students per teacher
Classes are 30 minutes in length. If a class has only 1 student, the student will be asked to move to another class.
Our daily swim lesson plans have over a 30 year history behind them and have been used to teach over 100,000 kids to swim! We offer 14 levels of progression with beginning classes for kids of any age. For preschoolers, our lesson plans are theme-based to allow imagination to flourish and fear to diminish, a very important element! For older children, classes emphasize fun and water safety skills in the beginning levels and stroke development and technique in advanced classes.
Each age group features several classes with increasing difficulty. Every class maintains a small student to teacher ratio to improve learning and encourage safety.
