Intermediate classes are for students that can move short distances independently in the water. Our classes give necessary experience to the student to refine basic skills, increase distance and learn independent breathing. Starfish/Catfish classes continue in the progressive sequence of swimming. Sea Turtle/Sea Otter classes emphasize the importance of acquiring an independent breath.

Ages: 3 years
Prerequisite skills: Move 7 feet through water
Goal: Move 10 feet through water & begin to get a breath

Ages: 3 years old
Prerequisite: Move 10 feet through water
Goal: Move 15 feet through water & begin to get a breath

Ages: 4 years & up
Prerequisite Skills: Swim 20 feet
Goal: Swim 20 feet and begin to get an independent breath

Ages: 4 years & up
Prerequisite Skills: Swim 20 feet
Goal: Swim 20 feet through water & get an independent breath
