Gymnastics Facility
We’ve been training preschool, recreational and competitive gymnasts since we opened in 1993. We moved to our new state-of-the-art multi-sport facility in August 2004 and then expanded in January 2006 by adding an additional 5,000 square feet upstairs. Our gymnastics facility spans two floors: upstairs we have Tumble Land for preschool gymnastics and downstairs we have our main gym floor for recreational and competitive gymnastics. Our gymnastics school is one of the largest in New Mexico – we strive to provide children the best equipment and facility available and to give parents a pleasant enviroment for viewing classes.
Over 11,000 total square feet dedicated to gymnastics including a private preschool gymnastics area for added safety with age and size appropriate equipment. Safety is at the top of our list with special attention given to constant improvement and continual upgrades of our equipment. The following is a partial list of our equipment for gymnastics:
Quad bars for safe development of bar skills
2 vault runways and vaulting systems
Corner Foam Pit & Climbing Rope
7 balance beams at various heights
Rings with an extra safe landing area
An in-ground trampoline with mat-covered springs
2 pommel horses
A 40 foot in-ground Tumbl Trak to teach safe tumbling
2 sets of parallel bars
An in-ground foam pit with a bungee/trampoline system
A 20 foot rod floor
2 sets of uneven bars
An interchangeable high bar system with spotting platform
Lots and lots of competition grade mats
A 7 foot traverse climbing wall
Two observation areas, one upstairs and one downstairs
